Local Sacramento poker legend Justin "J.C." Tran is one of the most successful players in the history of the +World Poker Tour. Tran won a WPT title at the World Poker Challenge in Season V and he took home $708,973 for that win. Tran also won Season V WPT Player of the Year honors thanks to three final-table appearances.

Tran has done particularly well at California Swing events over the years. He was the runner-up at the L.A. Poker Classic in Season V, taking home $1,177,010 at the largest LAPC in history. One year before he took fifth place and cashed for $265,728 at the LAPC during Season IV. Tran also bubbled the final table in seventh place during Season II, good for $94,540. In addition to his success in LA, Tran has a pair of cashes at the nearby Bay 101 Shooting Star.

Tran has cashed 13 times in 81 +World Poker Tour (WPT) events played for a cash rate of 16 percent. He has won just over $3.1 million at WPT events, which puts him in the top 13 overall. Here is a look at Tran’s career results on tour.
