November Niner Enters the Field


The latest member of the Northern California Chapter of the WSOP November Niners - Gordon Vayo - has joined the field here in Level 6 of the $500,000 guaranteed Ante Up World Championships Main Event.

Vayo, from San Francisco, is sitting 3rd in chips in the WSOP Main Event with 49,375 for when play resumes on Halloween weekend. 8th cash of the 2016 WSOP and his 27th career WSOP cash.

Many of the Bay Area poker players know Vayo from tournaments he's been in around the region, and quite a few were involved in the same event in 2012 when he took 2nd to Matt Affleck in a Main event in Reno that also included local players Zak Gilbert (3rd) Amber Chatwin (4th) Mitchell Cogert (5th) Steve Brecher (7th) Jim Martinin (11th) Sarge Glenn (14th) Ivan Holmes (15th) and Mike McGonigle (17th).
