A @WhitneyOaks Day with @TylerPoker

Tomorrow starts the @HPTPoker Main Event, but today was time for Tyler Patterson and some of his friends to slip out to Whitney Oaks Golf Club for a day on the links before settling in for a few days of poker.

Patterson flew across the country yesterday after taking 4th place in the WPT Bounty Scramble at Best Best in Jacksonville, FL. He gathered up a group that included (from left) Peppermill Poker Room Manager Mike Nelson and his son Jake, along with Ben Erwin - Thunder Valley's Director of Poker Operations - HPT Tournament Director Jeremy Smith, Erik Eichman, Lon McEachern, HPT's Director of Operations Ken Lambert and poker pro Kenna James. Hey, what about Matt Boddorf? He was late to the photo!

Whitney Oaks and Thunder Valley Casino Resort are part of the United Auburn Indian Community properties. The golf course makes for a great escape this weekend should you bag chips in an early HPT $2500 Championship Event and you want a day in the sun before Day 2 starts on Monday.
