1st to Double, 4th to Bust

I showed up to see Bob Mather and David Olson clashing in a big pot in the tournament lobby area.

The board looks pretty scary - Kc Kc Kc Kc and there's about 7,000 in the pot.

Olson scored the first elimination of the day, KO'ing Ed Lewis, but he now has just 9,000 in front of him as he calls Mather's turn bet.

Mather, on the other hand, looks to have gathered in most of Olson's stack from previous hands, as he's at 45,000.

The river is Kc and Mather puts out a stack of orange snakeskin 5k chips, more than enough to put Olson at risk for his tournament stack.

Olson doesn't like the bet at all, Mather seems pretty happy by it, and Olson finally gives in and calls off his stack.

Olson turns over Kc Kc for the flush.

Mather has the nuts, Kc ... and to be honest, I didn't even see his other card once I saw he won the pot.

Mather moves to 62,000 and Olson is back to get his one available re-entry for this flight.
